## What we believe

Software doesn't teach students. Teachers do. Our tutors ask guiding questions rather than handing over answers, because the point is understanding, not a finished worksheet. Everything else we build gives teachers their time back: unit plans drafted in minutes, papers marked automatically, attendance taken before the bell, and results published on the day they were promised.

## The people behind it

- **Anant Bardhan**, Founding member and CEO. Former CTO, chief architect and VP of data, analytics and cloud at IBM, Cognizant and Capgemini.
- **Vik Dewanjee**, Founding member and CMO. Years in leadership roles in investment banking; has founded and run several businesses. Chartered Accountant and CPA.

## Questions

### Which product is the LMS?

SparK-12. It's our learning platform for K–12 schools and it runs at app.sparkmentis.ai.

### Can we use one product without the others?

Yes. Each product works on its own, and they're designed to fit together if you use more than one. For example, SparK-12 assignments sync straight into SparkMentor.

### Does SparkMentor just give students the answers?

No. SparkMentor follows the Socratic method: it explains the concept behind a problem and asks guiding questions so the student works it out. It gives feedback on essays but won't write them.

### Can SparkExam handle large, high-stakes exams?

Yes. SparkExam is built for anything from a school's term exams to national exams, online with proctoring or on paper with AI marking of scanned scripts.
