Prerequisites: Completion of Programming in Python 

This course introduces students to the world of Generative AI and how today’s most advanced language models work. Through hands-on projects and real-world tools, students will learn to build smart applications powered by AI.

What students will learn:

How Generative AI and LLMs (like ChatGPT) are built and used

Basics of Machine Learning and Deep Learning

Prompt engineering and communicating with AI models

Using OpenAI tools, APIs, and open-source alternatives like Ollama

Managing memory, context, and logs in AI-powered apps

Building a capstone project using Python and real AI tools

Prerequisites: Completion of Programming in Python and Introduction to Generative AI & LLMs

This advanced course is for students ready to take their AI skills to the next level. Focusing on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and agent-based systems, students will build powerful, real-world AI applications using cutting-edge tools and frameworks.

What students will learn:

How RAG systems enhance LLM performance with external data

Embeddings, vector databases, and text chunking strategies

Building AI workflows with LangChain

Exploring multimodal RAG and AI agents in action

Fine-tuning LLMs using techniques like LoRA

Developing a capstone project using everything they've learned
