What is a mock test?
Definition
A mock test is a full practice exam taken under conditions like the real one (the same sections, timing and rules) to check readiness and get used to the pressure.
How to use mocks well
- Sit them under real timing
- Review every mistake, by topic, the same day
- Practise the weak topics before the next mock
- Space them out: more in the last weeks
The repeat problem
Re-taking the same mock tests memory, not skill. Fresh mocks show real readiness.
Questions
- How many mocks should I take?
- Enough to settle your pacing and see steady scores; quality of review matters more than count.
- Are AI mocks like the real exam?
- They follow sections and timing, but they aren't official papers.
