For African schools, exam bodies and training institutes
Across Africa, exams are high-stakes, mostly on paper and marked by hand at great cost, and the demand for skills training is huge. SparkMentis keeps paper where it works and automates the rest, and brings hands-on vocational and AI training.
The systems schools work in
- West Africa: WAEC's WASSCE, and in Nigeria also NECO's SSCE and JAMB's computer-based UTME for university entry.
- Kenya: KNEC exams, including the KCSE, and a move to competency-based education.
- South Africa: the National Senior Certificate (matric), with the CAPS curriculum, and IEB exams in many independent schools.
- French, Portuguese and Arabic are languages of schooling in many countries, alongside English.
