Papers written with AI, approved by people, before anyone sees them
A paper is the most sensitive thing an exam has. SparkExam helps setters draft it faster with AI, then sends every paper through review and approval, and nothing is printed or published until the right person has signed it off.
How a paper moves
- Draft
- A setter writes the paper, with AI suggesting questions in your format, marks and difficulty.
- Review
- Reviewers read it, comment and send it back or forward. Every change is recorded.
- Approve
- Only an approved paper can be printed or opened for an online sitting.
- Seal
- When a sitting opens, the paper can be sealed so its wording isn't readable where it normally sits.
AI that helps, never decides
AI drafts questions and checks a paper's balance; a person approves every question that goes out. The same holds after the exam: AI suggests marks, examiners release them.
Several versions of one paper
For paper exams, candidates can get different sets of the same paper. Once a set is printed or picked, it's locked, so nobody's set changes afterwards.
Questions
- Can AI write the whole paper?
- It can draft one, but a person reviews and approves it before it can be used. Nothing goes out unapproved.
- Is there a record of who changed what?
- Yes. Every step from draft to approval is tracked, so you can see who did what and when.
- Does it work with our paper format?
- Yes. Papers follow your sections, marks and instructions, and print the way your candidates are used to.
